Inside the Slate Cubicle
Introducing the Inside the Cubicle Webinar Series: A New Resource for Career Guidance in Slate
This past Monday saw the launch of a new webinar series designed to provide insightful guidance on career paths, roles, and opportunities within the Slate Community.
Going Modern (UI) in Slate
You may have heard the rumors that the default UI in Slate is changing - and soon.
It’s true. As of November 26, 2024, all Slate databases will be switched over to the default theme called Modern UI. It has previously been available for users to self-select, but this month will see all users across all databases switch to the new and updated UI as the system default.
So why are we changing it? The answer lies in our commitment to making Slate more intuitive, powerful, and adaptable for our users.
What is Slate Certified?
You’ve asked us for years now to offer a Slate certification program, and you’ve given a variety of reasons. Over and over, however, one of the most common involves professional development and wanting a way to indicate to others that we at Technolutions recognize your abilities to work with Slate.
We have always made Slate Summit sessions available to be user-led presentations, which is one way to prove to your institutions that you are a Slate superstar. But that isn’t always enough.
Enter Slate Certified.

Case Study with BWF: Queens University of Charlotte, Advancement
